Discover Your Connection Options With A Smart Cell Phone

By Bruce Wiley

You still want to a way to keep up with your clients' needs even when you're out of your office. But if you can't reach them and they cant' reach you, then you can't do that. Choosing the right smart cell phone involves more than simply picking out the one that looks the best and has some cool features.

The looks and features wouldn't serve you any good if you can't get the connection you need. It matters which way to connect the phone provided.

If you pay attention to product details, you'll see that not all cell phones have the same power connection and when you do get a cell phone, you'll want as much connection power as you can have. Some offer only one.

While the inability to connect or stay connected might not matter to you as much when you're on a personal call, on a business call, an interruption can signify the end to an important deal you spent weeks or months trying to set up - especially if your competition is waiting in the wings, connects with your contact and seals the deal.

Not having the connection to get or send an email that's top priority is just as bad as not having the power to keep that call going when you need it. You need to make sure your smart cell phone has Wi-Fi capability and it's one of the main reasons your business is conducted outside the office. Even in the most unlikely places, your cell phone can be connected. EDGE, GSM, or Wi-Fi are some ways you can connect.

In the market there are decent phones that have Wi-Fi ability. One of them is the HTC Touch Viva T2223. It's the unlocked international version but comes with a warranty.

The unlocked US version of the Palm Treo Pro has Wi-Fi and also has warranty. The model also has GPS. Besides being great at keeping you connected, some of the models of Samsung, LG, and T-Mobile phones come with Wi-Fi.

Does this mean that you should pass over a phone that doesn't have Wi-Fi? Of course not. A bonus rather than a necessity is having to evaluate the time you'll be spending on the road where you'll need Wi-Fi versus staying in town where there's Wi-Fi connection. But if you want to make sure your smart cell phone has the best connection capability, look for one that has more than one way to connect.
